d Adarsha Vidyalayas are the CBSE affiliated English Medium schools under the administrative control of Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body of the Department of School Education Govt. of Assam. These vidyalayas primarily cater to the needs of the students belonging to the educationally backward blocks of Assam and provides science labs, enriched libraries, activity corners and a beautiful ambiance for the students so as to ensure holistic development of the students. Adarsha Vidyalayas aims to offer a national standard of education to all children especially those from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who may not have access to quality English medium education. Beyond academics, Adarsha Vidyalayas prioritize student’s emotional well-being, artistic and cultural preservation, and the development of skills. It creates a stimulating environment for the students to react, respond, research and rise. We all pledge to make our Vidyalaya a centre of Excellence.
MATRI GOOT
With the directives of Samagra Siksha Assam , Adarsha Vidyalaya Itakhuli has formed an active and energetic Mother’s group or the Matri goot. The goal is to involve mothers from the local community in supporting and enhancing the school environment and student well-being. The group consists of mothers of students studying in our school. They assist in various school activities, like in mid-day meal preparation, during morning assembly, organizing cultural programmes & sports and also sharing knowledge of local culture and tradition. They are also assigned to monitor teacher’s punctuality and addressing any issue related to school. They play a vital role in bridging the gap between the school and the community , promoting students development and enhancing overall educational experience
Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a crucial role in fostering a strong partnership between parents and teachers, ultimately benefiting students’ academic and personal development. By facilitating communication, collaboration, and a sense of community, PTAs help create a supportive environment that enhances the overall school experience. Adarsha Vidyalaya Itakhuli also has a strong and active PTA. PTA of Adarsha Vidyalaya has created opportunities for parents to connect with each other, build relationships with teachers, and feel more connected to the school community by involving in school’s day to day activity. They get involved in our learner’s education, attendance,discipline and academic performance. Our PTA raises funds and gather voluntary contributions to school . They organise cultural events & sports and gives feedback on school development plans.They also review school progress , identify issues,improve the school environment, promote hygiene and health of the learners .
